Original sourdough crispbread with hole
These sourdough crispbreads are made in small batches with our signature sourdough starter, which slowly ferments for 16 hours. They’re crafted from natural ingredients including Shipton Mill flour and organic fresh milk.
Sourdough crispbread is born of the Swedish tradition of preserving. Large sourdough rounds would be baked until crisp and dappled, then stored on a pole over the fire during the long, dark winter months. We honour this tradition by stamping a hole through each round before baking. Break, share and enjoy, topped with your favourite cheeses, smoked salmon or pâté.
